Donna Rizzo
Donna Rizzo, 57, passed away on Dec, 8, 2011. She was born on October 30, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY and has lived in Cape Coral since 1980.
She had a passion for children, science and education and worked at The Imaginarium, after which she taught at North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts (NFMAA) until her passing.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Rizzo of Cape Coral and her sister, Janet Rizzo of Fort Myers.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Donna on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at NFMAA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following three charities: Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908, the NFMAA Foundation for the Arts, or the Donna Rizzo Memorial Butterfly Garden at NFMAA.
Checks for the Memorial Butterfly Garden or Foundation of the Arts are payable to the North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts and may be mailed to 1856 Arts Way, North Fort Myers, FL 33917 to the attention of Lori Carlsen.
