Hazel Marie Geier
Hazel Marie Geier, 70, a Cape Coral resident since 1986, formerly of Oklahoma, died Jan. 12, 2012.
She was born Aug. 9, 1941 in Framingham, MA to the late Raymond L. and Marie Inez (Loring) Moore.
Geier was a retired teacher for the visually impaired for the Lee County School District and was a graduate of Boston College where she earned her Masters Degree in education. She was also a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Fort Myers.
She is survived by her two loving sons, Timothy A. Geier and wife Crystal of Guyton, GA and Nathan C. Geier and wife Carly of Cape Coral; and four grandchildren, Aiden and Gabriel Geier, Cape Coral and Zachary and Jocelyn Geier, Guyton, GA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard “Dick” Moore.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Covenent Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers 33901, with the Dr. Rev. Kathleen Weller officiating and Chaplin Denise Sawyer assisting.
