Darlene Joy Frisina
Darlene Joy Frisina, 53, a Cape Coral resident since the mid 1980s, formerly of Ridgely, Md., died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, in Cape Coral. She was born Nov. 3, 1958, in Washington, DC.
She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God in North Fort Myers and was the former administrator at the All Aboard Day Care Center in Cape Coral.
She is survived by her father, Samuel (Jan) Fortner of Easton, Md.; her fiance, John Penn of Cape Coral; two sisters, Debbie Potter of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Dawn (John) Davis of North Fort Myers; two brothers, Dale (Cindy) Fortner of Fort Myers, and Darrell (Dona) Fortner Dona of Hollywood, Calif.; as well as seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy C. Fortner, in 2001.
Memorial services were held Monday, March 26, at the Faith Assembly of God, 6950 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, with Pastor Phil Goss officiating.
