Laureen S. “Laurie” Pesek
Laureen S. “Laurie” Pesek, 66, of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She was born in Cherry Point, N.C., and a longtime resident of the Reading, Pa., area. She was a graduate of Albright College and past member of the Gulfshore Optimist Club and a member of the North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, the Community Papers of Florida and a the local Cleveland Brown Backers Fan Club. She was the advertising director for Senior Life Magazine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Pesek; father, Robert Hawkins; stepfather, Richard McNabb; and father-in-law, Ladd J. Pesek. Survivors include her son, J.R. Pesek; her mother, Corrine McNabb; a sister, Linda (William) Siegel; and her mother-in-law, Helen Pesek.
Memorial services will be held on at a later date.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Hope Hospice.
