AARP should support health care reform
To the editor:
Well, Joe Campochiro, your letter of Feb. 6, baffles me in your reasoning. Who in God’s world should be against greater access to health care, and at lower prices?
The AARP club provides benefits for its members, as most clubs do. Health insurance for those who need it is just one benefit. It is only to be expected that the club will receive some monetary rebate from insurers – only business as usual.
Wherever are you are getting your bogus “news” from is doing you and us a despicable disservice.
I would be sorely put-out if AARP failed to support any reform to our ailing health care system, and so should you. They promised to help seniors, and that is the best way I know.
Yes, the dis-information squads are putting in a lot of well-paid overtime.
