Democrats will bring prosperity back

To the editor:

I continue the shake my head in disbelief at the coverage in the so called “liberal media” (factually the media is extreme conservative,) of people like Palin, The massive coverage of the tea baggers, and how they loved the worst president in history, W. Bush. President Obama has been in office one year and the extreme hate and ugliness is dominating all media outlets. It’s a shame.

This is the same thing that happened with President Clinton. Where were these t-bags and the media when Bush and his conservative party spent the first six years without a single veto to any spending bill? They trashed our economy and sold us out to China and the Saudis. How quickly they forget. I’m disappointed that some of the fickle American public is so easily swayed by these extremist. Bush declared war on and broke the middle class! He and Cheney never saw an oil company or large corporation that didn’t get a huge tax break deepening our national debt. the result is this deep depression that President Obama is slowly getting us out of. Do the people of the United States really want to go back to Republican political rule and get plunged even deeper into third world life?

Now I hear how the Republicans are whining that the leadership does not work with them.

Obama has held out the olive branch numerous times and he gets shoved back by the conservative party of NO who have yet to offer any constructive help, only total negative criticism.

How can some people forget that the stock market was in the low 6000 area when Bush left office? My 401K is now much better as the market is over 10000.

Now that the ultra conservative Supreme Court has opened the floodgate for unlimited campaign funding by huge corporations the outcome will be more of the Bush Cheney type economics, economics that nearly killed off the middle class, throwing a massive number of Cape Coral home owners into poverty. Hello Cape Coral, it was the eight-year Republican reign that kicked our community and economy right in the teeth.

Do you remember how at times Bush was referred to as a Nazi because of his blanket policy of non cooperation with any Democratic ideas? Oh well, a memory is a terrible thing to lose and if people are so quick to forget the hard times Republican conservative ideological dominance brought to our Country…May the Lord have mercy on America.

Some people should put their blind racism and extreme brand of conservatism aside and give this President a chance! Remember this, Democrats were not the ones that plunged this country into the deep depression, but if given a chance Democrats will bring prosperity back.
