Another vote for Fernandez
To the editor:
Courageous, Witty, Intelligent, Impartial, Innovative, Passionate for the Law, Committed, Involved with the Community. I had the opportunity to work with Miguel as an associate in his firm for several years and saw first hand these great attributes in him. No candidate is more qualified or deserving than he is. Miguel has been involved not only in the legal community but our community since he began working as a State Attorney in Lee County over 20 years ago.
But besides being a boss, Miguel is a great mentor and friend. Because of him I have learned to become a better and ethical attorney. Miguel taught me to always listen to my client’s needs, and to balance their needs with what is legally correct.
When I left his firm to begin my own practice, Miguel encouraged my decision and was the first person to offer to help.
As a “local girl” having grown up in this County, I could not think of a better Judge to protect and carry out justice than Miguel C. Fernandez.
