Vote Hayward

To the editor:

I hope the voters do not confuse a candidate’s enthusiasm for putting up signs and running for a paying job with mature judgment and judicial experience. I urge voters to support Archie Hayward, the incumbent county judge in Group 4. Hayward has a distinguished legal background and was appointed by Gov. Crist after a lengthy process of evaluation against other candidates. He knows the community, is committed to the rule of law and fairness, and is calm and thoughtful. The citizens of Lee County are blessed to have Hayward as a judge and hopefully they will continue to keep him in that role.
