Vote the incumbents out at every level
To the editor:
The election of 2010 may very well be the most important election of our lifetime, as it will determine the course of history for the next century. For all of the bravado coming out of Washington, we are teetering on the brink of disaster. The national debt has risen beyond any hope of repayment, the U.S. Dollar has become little more than Chinese takeout, we have more than 20 million illegal aliens, who are lured with veiled promises of amnesty, meanwhile Obama leads the country towards socialism. Our constitution, our culture and capitalism are threatened.
The only chance the taxpayers have is removing the incumbents from office at every level. Elective office has become a haven for self-serving, self-aggrandizing hypocrites.
We are facing a jobless non-recovery with higher taxes, Medicare reductions and a medical atrocity called health care, plus myriad foreclosures, bankruptcies and for the smart lands, suicide. The election is the only possible chance that we poor suckers at the bottom of the heap have to save ourselves. So save yourself and vote the beggars out, starting with the local elections right up to Washington.
Recently, in an effort to dismiss the threat, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said “let the chips fall where they may;” but I would remind her that the chips never fall far from the buffalo and that political and buffalo chips seem to be made of the same material.
