Vote Fischer
To the editor:
Every so often someone comes into your life who is unique and very special. Mary Fischer is one of those people. I met Mary when she became my daughter’s fifth grade teacher working with her in a special capacity to overcome developmental learning problems. Mary not only taught my daughter to read, she taught her to believe in herself. My daughter went on to graduate from college with honors, attend seminary for four years, and become an ordained Episcopal priest. Ms. Fischer’s positive power went a long way. I work with Mary Fischer every day at Ida S. Ba#ker High School and watch her work her magic. She never loses her composure or her humor. She is calm, logical, and sensible.
We need Mary Fischer on our school board. We need the positive energy she continuously promotes, the knowledge she possesses from years of working as a teacher and counselor with students, parents and community members, and most importantly, the focus she unwaveringly places on what is best for kids. Mary Fischer will never backdown on any issue that compromises the welfare of students. She will be there for them. She will use her extensive knowledge about education and school district issues to build a better future for our children and our community.
I urge you to vote for Mary Fischer for Lee County School Board. We need her
