Please make the road safer

To the editor:

Here’s a simple New Year’s resolution that everyone can participate in . . . let’s all brush up on our driving skills. Just think how much more pleasant the morning commute or the evening outing would be if we all concentrated on proper driving techniques. Even if you’ve been driving for many years you can do better by; using turn signals, learning how to merge correctly, using turn signals, obeying the speed limit, using turn signals, stopping for red lights, using turn signals, etc.

I know one less rude and inconsiderate driver on the road would make my day. Happy New Year,
