Food Stamps Program is an aspect of America’s shame
To the editor:
Having recently read several articles concerned with the Food Stamp Program as it exists here in our United States of America, I cannot help but being ashamed of many of the people in our country.
Can you imagine between 40 and 50 million Americans being on Food Stamps? And, so many of our school children being on that Food Stamp Dole that it staggers the imagination. What the hell is happening that we can’t feed our own kids and need the government to take care of them in that regard? Have we no shame?
I don’t know about you but I feel it is a national disgrace that is leading us all down the road to our own destruction along with much of the other garbage that has been foisted on us all by oh so many stupid and illiterate legislators and governmental do-gooders.
Here we are in hock up to our eye balls and the turkeys who control our destiny keep on finding ways and means to spend us all deeper into oblivion.
Will it ever cease? Most certainly never if we all refuse to wake up.
If we can’t at least feed our own kids, what do you think? Whatever, as my old man used to say “the first hundred years are the hardest” so, I’ll continue to ride the old wagon while it goes over the cliff, say a few Hail Mary’s and oh yeah, a few other prayers for our good old U.S.A.
