Kidney Thrift Store in need of donations
To the editor:
Last Friday we met with the social worker from the dialysis center and she informed us that the need for help for her clients is exceeding what they have to give. With that being said we are asking our community for donations. I can assure you that we use all donations for the local center.
Your donation in the form of cash is always welcomed.
To keep our store running however we need donations of many kinds. Won’t you take a look around your home and do some spring cleaning early. Things needed are any household items, clothing, tools, linens, jewelry and adult as well as children’s clothing. If you could drop off at the store we would appreciate that.
Furniture is a big money maker for us, so if you have furniture you no longer need we have a driver who can pick it up.
Those of you know our store know that we take great pride in keeping our store clean and we offer a great products at the most affordable prices of any thrift store around. We offer a special sale every day. Come on in and check us out!
I would like to invite you to join our team of dedicated volunteers if you have a few hours a week and need to just get out …. I guarantee you will feel good giving back to the community and will make some life long friends volunteering with us!Thank you so much for your support!
