To the editor:

When you have a good-news story to tell, it doesn’t always get deserved attention. So, I want to thank Andrea Galabinski, of the North Fort Myers Neighbor, for her great story about tours that Conservation 20/20 volunteers are now giving at Prairie Pines, Caloosahatchee Creeks, and Pine Island Flatwoods preserves.

After her Jan. 4 article, WALK WITH NATURE, we went from an average of seven attendees to 52 arriving for the Jan 7 Prairie Pines tour. That’s amazing!! And, we all had a wonderful time. This shows that really good writing can produce results. And, I think this also says a lot about the popularity of The Neighbor. Thank you, Andrea.
