Money ill spent

To the editor:

Let me see if I have this right. Obama wants to give $1.3 billion to Egypt for military aid. This military aid pays the costs of the military as well as their benefits. The forces in Egypt that want the military to relinquish power are devout anti-westerners, the Muslim Brotherhood to be exact.

Besides that Obama wants to add an additional $800 million to his “Arab Spring”.

All this questionable aid under the banner of providing long-term fiscal support to countries whose loyalty to the U.S. is doubtful.

Additionally, Obama wants the U.N. and other friendly nations to assist in the overthrow of the Syrian regime. The only problem there is we would be assisting Al Qaida who is behind the uprising in Syria. If the uprising is successful Al Qaida would control Syria with the Muslim Brotherhood poised to wrench control of Egypt.

I have a problem with this.
