Time to stop the spending, start doing the job you’re elected to do
To the editor:
An open letter to all elected officials beginning with President Obama, the United States Congress, The House of Representatives and including elected officials every where: We say STOP.
We’re fed up with irresponsible spending. We’re ashamed of the practice of borrowing from our enemies and then beholding to them. We don’t approve of your practice of stealing from our children.
And, we insist that you understand the difference between wants and needs.
Your incessant babbling.
The “deal making.”
The lies, deception, and feckless behavior revolving around debt and more debt shames America and all Americans as well.
The first and foremost job of every elected official is to protect the American people and the making sure that the officials conduct themselves honorably. Building a debt approaching $19 trillion serves to position America at risk, places our children’s future in jeopardy, and, no doubt, demonstrates a behavior that is uncaring, sickening, and shameful! It’s unacceptable and we say stop. Stop over taxing…stop over regulating. And, stop the wild spending.
America, today more than ever before, needs good, honest, and creative people in office, not poll- driven, ruthless automatons who change their position with the seasons and then pompously and arrogantly violate every common decency rule.
It’s time for all elected officials to recognize that our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it! It’s long past the time for you to respect that sacrifice and stop placing America at risk. Stop the stupid debt building!! Stop the Democrats vs. the Republicans demeanor. Stop acting like spoiled children.
And start doing the jobs you were elected for.
