Headlines are deliberate
To the editor:
The recent front-page lead features are meant to deceive the prideful voters of Robert E. Lee County. The Alt-Left is hell-bent on the destruction of Southern statues, an influence of our great Southern historical heritage everywhere.
Just observe several placards and signs from the Alt-Left demonstrators at the Charlottesville, Virginia Right Rally. The website address, www.workers.org was on almost all of their signs in red letters at the bottom. This is all about the Obama, Clinton and Soros funded leftist organizations working to destroy our Republic and impeach our President, Donald John Trump. It is the rhetoric of the ultra-left of Obama, Clinton, Waters, Boxer, Schumer, Feinstein and Warren – the Looney left!!! These are not American patriots; they are elected haters of the Republic and want to see America changed into a Venezuelan or Cuban communist dictatorship. These politicians along with any of our local elected officials, who would opt to defrock true Southern history and the loss of over 500,000 of its gallant fighting men should be rejected at the Lee County polls.
Nothing is more important than true history. The portrait of Robert E. Lee in the chambers of the Lee County Commission should remain forever as an honorarium to the West Point graduate ranked second highest in his class at West Point with zero demerits, Robert E. Lee.
The officials who reject true history along with the Alt-Left might consider residing in Cuba so they can enjoy the benefits of communism. The off-spring of the “snowflakes” from the ’60’s and ’70’s have unfortunately come home to roost.
