MAGA support showing cracks
To the editor:
Over the last year our president and his supporters, “they,” have solidified their reputations as “outliers.”
An outlier is a data point, person, or thing that differs significantly from the main body, group, or expected range of values. It represents an anomaly or extreme value — either much higher or lower than the rest. They represent data points that lie outside the Gaussian Bell Curve known as the “Normal” distribution. They do not meet expectations. In a manufacturing environment, they would be scrapped because they did not meet the specified requirements.
As a country we are now starting to see how the people who exist within a Normal Distribution are starting the process of scrapping the POTUS, his administration, ICE, immorality, criminal enterprise and unconstitutional actions.
There are many former POTUS supporters, including MAGA acolytes who have turned against him for good reason which include Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Laura Loomer, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly and Nick Fuentes. Rather than provide all their reasons, here is why one has turned on Trump. Far-right activist Nick Fuentes has turned against Donald Trump, moving from a fervent supporter to a vocal critic who has urged his followers to oppose the Trump administration. As of early 2026, Fuentes has expressed deep disappointment with the Trump administration, labeling the MAGA movement a “cult-like scam” and accusing Trump of “selling out” and betraying his base on key issues.
Despite the turn against this POTUS, there are still diehard supporters. Immovable outliers.
In a manufacturing environment, outliers are typically scrapped because reworking them is considered “non-value added.”
It’s different with humans.
Let’s take Marjorie Taylor-Greene for example. She was a MAGA outlier who found her way back into the Democratic envelope of a normal distribution. She changed for the better. Now, if you listen to her speak, she makes sense.
What does this mean for the remaining outliers who remain in the MAGA trenches?
I do not know but hope springs eternal.
