Bill me later option added to post office Click-N-Ship Program
Need to send a package? It’s easy. All you have to do is “Click-N-Ship”! Effective July 1, 2009, Bill Me Later was added as a new payment option to Click-N-Ship service. Bill Me Later provides Postal Service customers with an easy and secure way to print shipping labels and pay for postage without using a credit card.
Both consumers and business customers are able to take advantage of the new Bill Me Later payment option by selecting Bill Me Later at checkout, answering two quick questions from Bill Me Later, and accepting the Bill Me Later terms. Bill Me Later will instantly authorize purchases online at checkout, and then customers will receive regular monthly statements. There are no account numbers to enter, just top-of-mind information such as date of birth and the last four digits of the customer’s social security number. This information is easy to provide and helps to protect against fraud.
With Click-N-Ship from the U.S. Postal Service, you can prepare packages for shipping without leaving your home or office. All you need is a computer, a printer and an Internet connection to print shipping labels with or without postage. We can help you calculate rates, find a ZIP Code, standardize and save addresses and keep a history of your online shipping.
What’s more, with Online Insurance, you can buy coverage of up to $500 for your packages at the same time you prepare your mailing labels. No extra transactions are required, and no additional forms, labels or stickers are necessary. With just a few extra keystrokes, you get protection and peace of mind for your packages at the same low price you’d get by driving to the Post Office.
With Click-N-Ship, you can use Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes available in convenient shapes at one consistent shipping rate. Or if you prefer, you can weigh, pay for, and ship your own Priority Mail or Express Mail packages right from your office or home. You even get Delivery Confirmation service at no extra charge when you print your label online and use Priority Mail. And if you need global service, Click-N-Ship can help you use Express Mail International or Global Express Guaranteed.
