Farah & Farah relaunches Empowering Greatness Scholarship, offers five students two years of free college
Fort Myers personal injury law firm Farah & Farah is relaunching its Empowering Greatness Scholarship. In partnership with the Florida Prepaid College Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Florida, the sixth annual program will award five outstanding high school students with a two-year college scholarship.
The application window is now open. Submissions must be completed no later than Friday, Feb. 13. Winners will be announced in the spring.
The scholarship is available to students currently enrolled in a public or charter high school in Florida and also demonstrate strong commitment to community and the classroom. The award covers tuition and most fees for 60 credit hours at any public college in Florida (or can be used at universities/trade schools within the state).
Through the scholarship, Farah & Farah would like to support the next generation of leaders by providing financial assistance for higher education and emphasizing the value of community commitment and mentorship.
Students can find more information and submit their applications through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida online application portal.
“The best part of my year is calling these talented young people to tell them they won the scholarship and their first two years of college are on us,” said Eddie Farah, founding partner of Farah & Farah.
