The 14th Annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Fashion Show will bring together fashion, philanthropy and community on Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs. Proceeds from the event will benefit Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Cancer Fund, which has helped more than 12,000 children and families facing cancer and blood disorders since 1995. Barbara’s Friends supports specialized pediatric care, advanced treatments, family support and counseling, equipment, staffing, and training that help children receive lifesaving treatment close to home.

“When a child is diagnosed with cancer, their entire family begins a journey they never expected,” said Amy Helgeson, senior director of development for Lee Health Foundation. “This year’s support of Barbara’s Friends is an opportunity for our community to rally around local children and families, celebrate their resilience and help ensure they have access to exceptional care and support every step of the way.”

Barbara’s Friends supports Golisano Children’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program, the only program of its kind in Southwest Florida. Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners, the fund helps provide critical resources that improve patient experience and outcomes. Thanks to philanthropic support, no child is denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community partners looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining visibility among an engaged audience of supporters.
