Alzheimer’s Association | Virtual Caregiver Support Group meetings
The Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, will be holding virtual Caregiver Support Groups on the third Tuesday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. starting Jan. 20 and on the fourth Thursday of every month from 3 to 4 p.m. starting on Jan. 22.
Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
