India Fest in Fort Myers to showcase ‘Royal India’ theme March 14
The India Association of Fort Myers will host its 35th annual India Fest Saturday, March 14, inviting the community to experience the color, flavor and energy of India during a vibrant daylong celebration of culture and tradition.
Held from noon to 8 p.m. at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers, this year’s “Royal India” theme draws inspiration from centuries of Indian kings and empires whose influence shaped the nation’s architecture, art, jewelry and cultural traditions. From grand palaces and fortified castles to courtly dance, music and craftsmanship, this year’s theme honors a regal legacy that continues to resonate in modern India.
In line with the theme, festival attendees can enjoy authentic Indian cuisine and drinks, artisan shopping, fashion and jewelry, cultural performances, live entertainment, a DJ and dancing, a fashion show, and a henna beauty bar.
“India Fest is a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition,” said Shaila Singh, president of the India Association of Fort Myers. “It’s an opportunity for those with Indian heritage to stay connected with their roots while welcoming the broader community to experience and appreciate the rich diversity that strengthens Southwest Florida.”
A variety of performances representing regions across India will take the stage throughout the festival, including Kathak, Bharathanatyam, Odissi, Bollywood, Bhangra and Gujrathi Garba.
Festival-goers can also explore a wide selection of food offerings, including a variety of chaats, South Indian delicacies such as dosas, North Indian favorites like kebabs, Indo-Chinese and Indo-Mexican dishes, as well as chai, juices and ice cream.
India Fest will be held at the Alliance for the Arts, 10091 McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers. General admission is $10, with special reserved parking available for $15 and VIP parking for $20. Tickets and additional event information are available at IAFtMyers.org.
Sponsorships opportunities start at $250 and include tickets, public recognition and program advertising. India Fest 2026 is also seeking additional vendors and performers to take part in this signature event. Those interested can email contact@iafortmyers.org for more information.
