NFMFD offers new wellness stickers
The North Fort Myers Fire Department is proud to introduce our new Wellness Sticker Program, a simple way to help first responders better prepare before entering your home during an emergency.
The voluntary vinyl cling sticker is placed on a door or window visible to responders and identifies important wellness needs within the home. Residents can select one or more of the following categories: Brain Injury/PTSD, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Diabetic, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, and Autism/Special Needs.
By providing this information before contact is made, first responders can adjust their approach to better meet the needs of those inside.
If you’re interested in receiving a free Wellness Sticker for your home, please contact Christi Fulton at 239-731-1931.
We’re always looking for simple ways to improve the care and service we provide to our community.
