Nova Classical STEM Academy counts down to first day of school with open house, orientation
With the first day of school just weeks away, Nova Classical STEM Academy is inviting families to a series of back-to-school events designed to help students and parents feel prepared, informed and excited for the school’s inaugural year ahead. The academy, opening this August as the first school in the world to integrate a Classical education model with STEM learning, is still accepting students grades K-7 and hosting a final open house and a Meet the Teacher & Orientation Day before the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Final open house set for Aug. 1
Nova Classical STEM Academy will host its final open house for the public before opening on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The event is designed to introduce families to the opportunities that make the Nova experience unique, and the school encourages every family to attend.
During the event, families will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about Nova’s House System, a school-wide program that promotes leadership, teamwork, service, school spirit and positive character development.
• Meet the teachers leading Nova’s elective courses and enrichment programs.
• Explore Nova’s academic competition teams, including Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Robotics, Drone Competition, athletics and other student opportunities.
• Connect with faculty and staff to learn how students can get involved beyond the classroom.

Meet the Teacher & Orientation Day set for Aug. 7
Nova Classical STEM Academy will host Meet the Teacher & Orientation Day on Friday, Aug. 7, with sessions for kindergarten through grade 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. and grades 4 through 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. Families with children in multiple grade levels may attend either session for their convenience. The event is designed to ensure every family feels prepared and confident before the first day of school. During the visit, families will meet their child’s teacher, visit their child’s classroom, learn about arrival and dismissal procedures, review safety and security protocols, and receive information about lunch services, before- and after-school care, and daily school routines.
Enrollment and After Care registration

Nova Classical STEM Academy’s After Care Program, a safe, structured extension of the school day, is also now open for registration. Designed for working families, After Care provides a calm, supportive environment where students can complete homework, participate in engaging activities and build friendships under the supervision of trusted Nova staff. Families can have peace of mind knowing their children are safe, supported and still learning even after the school day ends. Spots are limited, and the school encourages families to register early to secure placement.
Nova Classical STEM Academy will open as a tuition-free public charter school serving grades K-7, with plans to expand annually to grades K-12.
