Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre to hold local auditions this Sunday for 34th season

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is seeking talented local performers for its upcoming 2026-2027 season. Local auditions will be held on Sunday, Aug. 16, beginning at 10 a.m., at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers.

Broadway Palm is casting performers ages 16 and older for a variety of Main Stage, Off Broadway Palm and Children’s Theatre productions, including “Oklahoma!,” “Grease,” “Come From Away,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Junie B. Jones,” “Charlotte’s Web” and “The Marvelous Wonderettes.”

Performers should prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre selection and bring a current headshot, résumé and sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Those invited to callbacks should be prepared to sing, read or dance. Callbacks will take place the same afternoon, with times to be announced.

All performers must have local housing and reliable transportation in the Fort Myers area and be available for all rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals typically begin 14 days prior to each production’s opening, generally running from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Technical rehearsals are typically held during the five days leading up to opening, generally from noon to 10 p.m. Call time for performances is 35 minutes prior to curtain.
