The waterfront will come alive this weekend as the Fort Myers Seafood & Music Festival returns, transforming the heart of the River District into an open-air celebration of coastal flavor and live entertainment.

Produced by Paragon Festivals in partnership with the Fort Myers River District Alliance, the three-day event now in its fifth year promotes itself as a “laid-back yet lively weekend where fresh seafood, diverse cuisine, and nonstop music set the tone from day to night.”

Taking place at Centennial Park, the festival hours will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free, making it one of Southwest Florida’s most popular event.

Culinary vendors will prepare dishes onsite, offering everything from fresh-caught seafood sourced from Florida’s coastal waters to a wide variety of meat and vegetarian options, along with desserts. Beverage selections will include alcoholic, non-alcoholic and various fruit drinks.

Live music doesn’t take second stage to the food component — regional and Florida-based musicians will deliver an eclectic mix of sounds from R&B, jazz, and rock to reggae, and Caribbean rhythms throughout the long weekend.

The entertainment schedule will include:
