The effect of oil shortages on everyday lives

To the editor:

In America we want for nothing.

I have a relative in Jordon, near Aman.

Missiles fly over his house two-three times a day. His house shakes terribly when the fragments hit the ground.

There was an announcement made this week. In two weeks, due to the oil shortage, electricity will be cut six hours per day. How do you keep food from spoiling ?

Due to the oil shortage, delivery drivers will be laid off. With this situation, how do you get food, water and goods with no drivers to do the delivery?

What a mess!
