Persechino voted Breeze Athlete of the Month for September
The votes are in for the Cape Coral Breeze’s September Athlete of the Month, and the winner is Oasis High School’s Skye Persechino.
The senior Shark had a first-place finish in the 100 freestyle, and four second-place finishes (100 backstroke, 25 freestyle, 400 mixed medley relay and 200 mixed freestyle relay) at the King’s Sentinels Showdown at Cypress Lake.
“I’m excited about how the season has started,” Persechino told The Breeze during her nomination week. “I can’t wait to see what this season brings, and I hope to finish off my high school career on a high note.”
