Verot rolls, Oasis stumbles in preseason football games

Canterbury 45, Oasis 17: After holding an early 10-7 lead, the Sharks faced rough going the rest of the contest. Cameron Hill scored touchdowns on a pair of 3-yard runs. Lauro Hendricks added a field goal for Oasis.The score was 24-17 with Canterbury leading early in the third quarter before the Cougars pulled away.
Bishop Verot 38, Charlotte 7: The Vikings completely dominated their preseason game, holding Charlotte scoreless until the game’s final moments. Verot quarterback Hudson Peak passed for a 36-yard touchdown and ran for a 10-yard score. Junior Davis, who caught the TD pass, added a two-point conversion. Robi Duclona ran 38 yards for a score, Ethan Pugh rushed for a 17-yard TD and Crew Stambaugh ran for 24 and another score. Anthony Budinas scored a safety with a tackle in the Charlotte end zone.
